Penticton is hosting the 2012 BC Chamber AGM & Conference in May
The BC Chamber 60th Anniversary AGM & Conference will be taking place in Penticton, May 24th through 26th. This is the premier event for the business community across the province and is the event your Chamber participates first-hand in policy work. This year we, along with the South Okanagan Chamber of Commerce and the Summerland Chamber of Economic Development and Tourism will be submitting a joint policy resolution proposal requesting government funding for a 3-year economic gardening pilot to support a local initiative reach sustainability.
We Are Seeking Feedback And Your Input Would Be Greatly Appreciated!
Your chamber is changing with the times and we are seeking your views and opinions about what we are and do to support our business community. We are membership driven and it's important to us that we are meeting your needs and providing our members with true service value. We are inviting interested individuals to participate in a facilitated focus group to gather your feedback on our various programs and services. Individual responses will be confidential. Results will be tabulated and provided in aggregate form only.
The focus group will take place Thursday June 14th from 5:30p to 7:00p in the Chamber board room located at 100 - 166 Main Street Penticton. South Okanagan Air Service Development Initiative
SCN-Lavalin Airports Group of Vancouver has been engaged by the City of Penticton to assess the demand for improved air service from Penticton's regional airport YYF. The Penticton & Wine Country Chamber of Commerce has been selected as a valuable resource from which to gather input. Sustainable connector air service in Penticton is a key business and community economic support mechanism. We encourage our members to take the time to participate in this important survey.
